三年ぶりに「合気神社例大祭」が開催された。稽古仲間と三人で参拝してきた。生憎、曇り空で風邪があり、空気が冷たく、一時間の大祭が普段より長く長く感じられたが、つつがなく終了した。大先生と吉祥丸先生をはじめ、お出まし頂いた神様もご満足されていたと拝察した。その証として、当日降る雨は、大祭最後の演武まで持ちこたえてくれたことである。大先生や神様からのご褒美であったと思っている。
大祭が終了して雨が降ってきたし、雨はどんどん激しくなるとの予報だったので、いつもの愛宕山登りはやめて、駅に向かった。駅前の喫茶店に入ろうと思ったが、閉まっているのでそこは諦め、電車に乗り、途中下車してコーヒーを飲んで、冷たい体を温め一息ついた。
The "Aiki Shrine annual festival" was held for the first time in three years. I have been worshiping with my fellow practitioners. Unfortunately, It was in the cloudy sky, the air was cold, and the one-hour festival felt longer than usual. I understand that the gods who came out, including Osensei and Kisshomaru-sensei, were also satisfied. As a proof of that, the rain that fell on the day held up until the final performance of the festival. I think it was a reward from the great teacher and God.
It was forecast that it would rain and it would be getting heavier, so we gave up climbing Mt. Atago. We thought about going to the coffee shop in front of the station, but it was closed so I gave up and got on the train. But we got off the train, drank coffee, warmed our cold body and took a breather.
