予定通り、前回の秩父神社に引き続き大宮氷川神社に御礼参りに行った。大晦日の一日前だが参拝客は結構多かった。参道の屋台はまだ開いていないので少し寂しい。神社で今年、無事に過ごせた事、合気道でいろいろ新たな発見があったこと等の御礼のお参りをし駅に戻った。来るときに大宮駅の館内放送で大宮駅から川越に行くＪＲ川越線があることを知ったので、帰りは川越線で帰ってみた。終点の川越駅まで行き、本川越駅から西武線に乗り帰った。新しい線が開拓できた。
Go on a pilgrimage to thank God
As planned, I went to Omiya Hikawa Shrine to pay my respects, following my last visit to Chichibu Shrine. Although it was just one day before New Year's Eve, there were quite a number of worshipers. The food stalls on the approach to the shrine are not yet open, so it's a bit lonely. I visited the shrine to express my gratitude for being able to spend this year safely and for making many new discoveries in Aikido, and then returned to the station.
