コロナのお蔭で４年間賀詞交換会はなかったが久しぶりに再開され、そして先生や仲間達、関係者に会い、挨拶できたことは嬉しいかぎりである。しかしこれまで見掛けていた高齢者の姿が少なくなったり、大分弱った姿を見るのは寂しかった。
賀詞交換会に参加する楽しみの一つは、多田宏先生にご挨拶することである。今年もお会いできて、ご挨拶することができた。先生は９４歳になられるという。今年はイタリアのボローニアの道場が６０周年を迎えるというので行かれるという。私でさえ長時間の飛行機の旅など嫌だと思っているのに、９４歳の先生が行くというのである。やはり先生は常人とは違うなと改めて思わされた次第である。そこで先生の健康で元気なもとは何だろうと思い、どうされているのかをお聞きすると、やはり時間がある限りみそぎをされているという。やはり年を取ってきたら毎日の禊ぎが欠かせないと再認識したしだいである。
今年は、晴れの催しはもちろんのこと、できるかぎり和服を着て出かけたいと思っている。まだ袖を通していない着物もあるので、文句を言われる前に着てやろう。
Aikikai greeting exchange meeting
Due to the coronavirus, there was no greeting exchange meeting for four years, but I am very happy that it has resumed for the first time in a while, and that I was able to meet and greet teachers, friends, and other people involved. However, it was sad to see fewer elderly people than I used to see, and to see them so weak.
This year, I would like to go out wearing Japanese clothes as much as possible, not to mention going to sunny events. There are some kimonos that I haven't put the sleeves on yet, so I'll try them on before they complain.
