フランスの友達の娘一家が来日した。コロナのため４年ぶりの来日である。今朝早朝に羽田についたが１４時間かかったという。ロシア上空が飛べず、ゴビ砂漠上空を飛んだからのようだ。通常より２時間もの長旅であった。しかし彼らとは昼に会い、天ぷら屋で昼食をとった。（写真）二人の子供も元気でよく食べた。この店の名物でもあるアイスクリームの天ぷらは好評であった。日曜日には東京を離れ、九州に行く。生け花の先生と習字の先生に会うという。お母さんはフランスで生け花を教えている。旦那は漫画家であり、ドイツ語、英語、イタリア語、スペイン語などに翻訳されており、今回、日本語の翻訳本を出すために出版社とも会うという。何事にも挑戦するのは素晴らしい。見習わなければならないだろう。
A French family came to Japan
My friend's daughter and family from France came to Japan. This is their first visit to Japan in four years due to the coronavirus. They arrived at Haneda early this morning, but it took them 14 hours. We took lunch at a tempura restaurant. Both children were healthy and ate well. The ice cream tempura, which is a specialty of this restaurant, was well received.
